Great Primers
I have used several thousand of these in an AR and have never had any problems. Every single one went bang. What more can you ask for? 100% success rate.

Great Primers!
CCI primers are the class of the field. You get value and performance. You can spend more but when given the choice I use CCI.

I use CCI #400 small rifle primers for my ARs because they have a harder case than most of the other primers. The hard case protects against slam fires. I also use CCI large rifle primers for my M1A .308.
Brandon Hightower –
I began reloading in 1971 and have loaded several thousand rounds of ammo since then. I have almost exclusively used the CCI brand primers and have NEVER had an ignition problem with even one round of my ammunition. All of the big game I have taken since I began “loading my own” have been taken with my ammo. When you are using your own special loads that you put together yourself, it is comforting knowing you used the best quality reloading components available.

Use CCI #400 primers almost exclusively in my 223 for varmint shooting. Have had absolutely no misfires, easy to load, seat precisely, gives me the best accuracy.
dion –
CCI has always performed well for me. They seem to have a higher QC program or just a better manufacturing process especially through this shortage stage we are going through. Thanks to them for not just ramping up production to pump out product that is of lesser quality.

A great Primer for the reloader
I have used CCI primers since the early 80’s and never a bad one !

I use these all the time, good crisp ignition to the powder is great. Definitely will buy more!!
barker –
Use these to reload for my AR. Can tell no difference from factory ammo
Prince Romer –
Over the past 40 years I’ve used most manufacturers reloading components and settled on CCI about 20 years ago for primers. I’ve never had a seating problem nor a FTF with the thousands and thousands of reloads I’ve processed and shot.

I’ve loaded thousands of rounds with CCI #400 primers and have never had a misfire caused by the primer

Works for me
Very dependable, all that you can ask for in a primer.
Diana Byington –
I have been reloading for several years, and prefer CCI primers. They are extremely reliable, and their casings seem to hold up the best of all primers I’ve used.
JP Dallas –
I have used several CCI primers over the time I have been reloading. I finally settled on these because they seem to load into the casing easier and I have never had these primers cause any problem with the rounds. Reliable, easy to use that’s what you want in a primer isn’t it? I will continue to use these.

Keonna –
have used CCI primers for all of my reloading for years. Consistent performance large or small, pistol or rifle.
QueenBee QueenBee –
Best primers I’ve ever used. I honestly can’t remember ever having a misfire with CCI primers. Remington on the other-hand are just the opposite. Remember to handle your primers with clean hands and keep them stored in a dry place. I use a large jar with a screw cap and a silica packet for my primer storage. Hope this helps.
Anne –
CCI makes some of the best primers available. They always seat very easily into any caliber of brass they are made to fit. I have been using CCI primers for years and never had a problem with them. Highly recommend for all calibers.
Memo Lopez –
I use CCI 400 primers almost exclusively for my 223. I have shot thousands of these during 3 gun competition and practice and I have never had a primer failure with the CCI 400’s.
Douglas –
These small rifle primers work well where small rifle primers should be applied… I have used for 22 Hornet as well as .223 loads
Dustin –
I only buy CCI primers , never a problem with them

I’ve used CCI primers in my .223, .222 and .221 Fireball with flawless performance for over several decades. Tried some Wolf, Winchester, and Remington over the years when I could not get CCI and have always come back to these.

Loading .223/5.56 is easy and satisfying with quality, inexpensive components
