30 Carbine Ammo
The .30 Carbine (7.62×33mm) is a rimless carbine/rifle cartridge used in the M1 carbine introduced in the 1940s. It is a light rifle round designed to be fired from the M1 carbine’s 18-inch (458 mm) barrel.
National governments often make too much ammo. (They hope it will be too much when they make it, at least.) And when they finally decide to get rid of it, they sell in bulk to handsome people like those of us who work at BulkAmmo We now have pallets of this fine 30 Carbine ammunition, which was made in Korea in the 1980s.
This cartridge features a standard 110 grain full metal jacket projectile, which doesn’t expand because South Korea didn’t wish to violate the Hague Convention in the process of defending their border. Unlike many milsurp rounds, its casing is brass and its primer is a Boxer, making it a great choice for the ardent handloader.
These 1,080 rounds come in a mil-spec steel ammo can, so they are ideal for even longer storage. They are loaded on 10-round stripper clips to make loading your M1 carbine easier, and those clips are in turn stored in fabric bandoliers.

I have only shot about 100 rounds ,just to check it out. shoots and functions good, and the box I got was clean.
only small spots of occasional rust on stripper clips.
reloaded what I shot so to keep a full can.
bandoliers are a little musty smelling, but nothing you can’t live with

Well the can was somewhat compromised with water damage. Failure in the rubber casket. SmellS musty, some rust on some clips, severe tarnish on rounds in about 10 of the clips. Cleaned all. In large tumbler. Ammo cleaned up very well except for several extremely tarnished rounds on clips All should still be shoots Le. No primers compromised due to being protected in clips

First can was PSD 84. Totally fine and good to go. Second can was KI81. Still pretty good, but about 10-15% of the rounds had some light corrosion on the brass and some small rust spots on the stripper clips. This did not affect function at all. Both cans arrived next day after order, so lightning fast shipping.
Still a good deal and I am ordering can #3 tomorrow.

Just what I was looking for
I have not fired any of these as yet. They come packed in an ammo can with the manufacture date stamped on it. They are all nice and clean with no blemish on them at all. Each is rolled in an ammo bandolier with stripper clips and a magazine spoon for each. I don’t anticipate any trouble when I do get them out to my range. As usual, the shipping was fast and the packaging was nice and secure.

Cartridge clips (10 rounds each) are contained in belts. Very cool. Can is not used by signs of aging. Seals well.

This ammo is bright, shiny, and looks like it was boxed last month. I like the bandoliers, and the stripper clips. It makes it easy to grab 80 round and sling it over your shoulder. Shoots good too. Highly recommend.

Other than the smell of the canvas bandoleers the item is great. Having taken one piece out for inspection it was quite a chore to get it back in.
I haven’t taken any to the range for a test yet but I hope to soon.

Clean, 100% reliable, MilSpec performance ammo in cardboard sleeved stripper clips, wrapped in bandoleers, and sealed in their original “Fat” 50 cal can. ALPHA GUN CENTER beat other vendors prices on these (in mid-2020) by a good margin. The expended brass was easy to reload with regular SR primers. I would love to see these offered again, but ya’ never know with older military surplus.

This was a good deal on .30 Carbine especially considering it was brass case and came with a cool ammo can and was loaded on stripper clips in bandoliers. The clips worked great loading up my M1 Carbine magazines. Try pricing the ammo, stripper clips, bandoliers, and an ammo can separately if you want to see why this is a good deal. I was pleasantly surprised how quickly it made it from Lucky Gunner’s warehouse to my front porch as well. This ammo was all clean and bright brass cased ammo and I had no issues.

My Auto Ordnance M1 Carbine loves these rounds. Clean as one can expect. Still have intermittent Failure to Feed issues – but that’s the magazine and not the round. I’ve used S&B Israeli rounds and the el-cheapo steel cased rounds. It doesn’t like either one at ALL with the failure to feed ratio off the charts!
One word of caution. These rounds are old – which means the bando’s they come on are old. Using your fingers to push them into the magazines may result in dual cut marks on your finger! Personally, I use a 30 carbine speed loader. I take the rounds off the bandos and then put them into the speed loader. Easier on the fingers – TRUST ME!
